HARVEST BEEF KABOBS

It takes only five common ingredients to create this truly five star flavour!

INGREDIENTS
1 1/2 cups   375 mL   honey mustard or honey garlic BBQ sauce
2 tsp   10 mL   chili powder
1 lb   500 g   Beef Grilling Kabobs or Top Sirloin Grilling Steak, cut into 1
1   1   medium pepper squash (1 1/2 lb/ 750 g)
2   2   red peppers

PREPARATION TIME: 20 minutes
COOKING TIME: 10 minutes

DIRECTIONS
In medium bowl mix BBQ sauce and chili powder. Set aside about ½ of sauce. Add beef cubes to remaining sauce in bowl, turning to coat. While cubes are marinating, pierce squash several times and microwave on HIGH for 4-5 minutes until just partially cooked. Cool slightly. Halve, seed and cut peppers and squash into 1½ inch (4 cm) pieces. Alternately thread beef cubes and vegetables onto metal skewers or soaked wooded skewers. Brush vegetables with reserved sauce and place kabobs on greased grill or under broiler. Close lid and cook for about 10-12 minutes until squash is crisp-tender and meat is medium rare. Turn kabobs occasionally and brush generously with reserved marinade throughout cooking.
