BASTING SAUCES

These baste recipes compliment beef's full flavour.

INGREDIENTS
Honey Mustard Baste    
1 tbsp   15 mL   dijon mustard
1 tbsp   15 mL   honey
1 tbsp   15 mL   soy sauce
1 tbsp   15 mL   lemon juice
1/2 tsp   2 mL   curry powder
1   1   clove garlic, minced
Red Wine & Rosemary Baste    
3 tbsp   45 mL   red vermouth or dry red wine
1   1   clove garlic, minced
1 tsp   5 mL   rosemary leaves, lightly crumbled


DIRECTIONS
Combine ingredients for baste recipe and apply with a brush to beef during last half of cooking time.
