Season and brown steak on all sides in hot oil in non-stick pan. Add vegetables. Pour chili sauce and water over meat and vegetables. Bring to a boil. Cover and simmer on stove or in oven at 325°F (160°C) for at least 1¼ hours or until tender. Serve with rice, couscous or mashed potatoes. Time Saver: To make this recipe in about 15 minutes, substitute a fast fry steak, pan-fry with the vegetables and simmer uncovered for 10 minutes only. Makes 4 servings. |
