Brush steaks with mixture of 1 tbsp (15 mL) each melted butter and dry red wine. Season with pepper. Broil using medium high heat for 5-7 minutes per side for rare or 7-9 minutes/side for medium, turning once with tongs. While steaks broil, saut� green onions and mushrooms in oiled non-stick pan until softened. Add dry red wine, beef stock and thyme. Simmer briskly until slightly thickened. Serve spooned over steaks.
