[Home]  FRESH ORANGE HERB STEAK

 
4 oz 125 g EYE OF ROUND STEAK, 1" (2.5 cm) thick
¼ cup 50 mL freshly squeezed orange juice
1 tsp 5 mL grated orange peel
1 tsp 5 mL red wine vinegar
¼ tsp 1 mL thyme
dash dash salt and freshly ground pepper

Place steak in a small deep bowl. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over steak. Cover and marinate 6-8 hours or overnight. Drain marinade. Broil 4-6 min/side for rare or until desired doneness. The marinade may be heated and served as a sauce.
